For sale in our store is a rare antique Cutler Sheffield knife from the early 1900’s, marked Real Sheffield Key Knife A. 1681 In the late 1800’s to early 1900’s Cutler bought the patent rights to the 1681 Real Sheffield Key Knife. The blade is one complete piece of metal and is encased in the wood handle secured by 5 brass pins. This over 100 year old antique knife is structurally in excellent pre-owned condition. The blade could still be sharpened if desired as it still has a very good blade and edge. 26 cm’s (10 1/4 inches) full length. 14.6 cm’s (5 3/4 inches) length – blade only. 11.4 cm’s (4 1/2 inches) length – handle only. 2.8 cm’s (1 1/8 inches) width – blade, at the widest point. 2.5 cm’s (1 inch) width – handle. 2.8 cm’s (1 1/8 inches) width – handle – end. 1.5 cm’s (5/8 of an inch) depth – handle only.
