1880's 36 JUNIOR HIGH WHEEL PENNY FARTHING TYPE ANTIQUE BICYCLE
This is a very rare survivor as it is a JUNIOR Penny Farthing Type HIGH WHEELER. It’s not a little bike – just not the huge size generally thought of in this style. The front wheel is 36 inches tall so it’s about 3/5ths size. Seat has been recovered with black leather. The bike was repainted long ago with Black Lacquer. This bike takes some skill at first to get up and going but the bike works fine. It’s up to you. Use it in your act or decorate your loft or business space. It’s Cool and priced for you. Not sure of the brand as the badge was removed for painting over 30 years ago, then misplaced. This bike hung on the wall of a bicycle shop for over 35 years. Now it’s time to have a new owner. Antique Emerson Brass 6 Blade Cage 3 Speed Electric Fan Type 21666 No. 192098
This beautiful Emerson fan is an exquisite example that is over 100 years old. It works great and has 3 speeds (fast, faster, and wow the early 1900s were no joke). The fan does have wear from age. The cord has been taped with electrical tape at some point, it may need to be replaced. It looks like it was meant to be bolted down to something. It doesn’t oscillate. Please see all photos for condition and feel free to ask any questions. 1942 Smiths Type 2 RAF Station Sector Clock
1942 Smiths Type 2 RAF Station Sector Clock. Here is a rare opportunity to own one of the classic clocks as used in the WW2 Operations Rooms of RAF stations. A smart circular mahogany body holds the innovative 24hr dial featuring the colour change clock-face and rotary blued steel hour and minute hands, behind a circular glass pane held in a brass bezel. The distinctive screen-printed coloured segments were used by the HQ staff to determine the course of enemy pilots overhead when collating observations from spotters both in the air and on the ground. As well as these signature markings, the face features the Kings Crown over the RAF monogram. The clock retains the original, spun brass bezel and has the glass retainer ring in place on the inside. The clock is in fully serviced working order. It comes complete with a winding key and, as should be expected of its original role, is an example of the finest English clock-making (Smith Astral, Coventry). Being a non-fusee movement, this clock has the advantage of being less temperamental than pendulum driven type 1s and will run without being hung exactly straight on the wall. Finally, of note, the back box that contains the movement is stamped’Smith 1942′ as well as’GVI’ (the Kings cypher), it also has the original brass fixture for hanging. The clocks face has a diameter of 14 inches (35.5 cm), the full body extends to a diameter of 16 inches (40.5 cm). The circular body is 1 inch (2.5 cm) deep, and the back’salt’ box extends a further 3 inches (7.5 cm), so 4 inches in total (10 cm). The clock weighs 3.67 Kg. The dials on type 2 clocks are normally’tinned’ which gives some protection from corrosion and explains why most are in better condition than their predecessors. Only small signs of wear around the winding aperture and adjustment slot are detectable, plus a gentle yellowing of the white face. None of these signs of ageing detracts from the clocks impressive cachet. Regarding the bezel, the brass has tarnished but the hinge is smooth and strong and the glass immaculate! The item “1942 Smiths Type 2 RAF Station Sector Clock” is in sale since Tuesday, September 18, 2018. This item is in the category “Collectables\Collectable Clocks”. The seller is “theantiquesstorehouse” and is located in Portsmouth, Hampshire. This item can be shipped worldwide.

STANLEY NO. 2 TYPE 4! B CASTINGS PLANE Vintage Antique Woodworking Hand Tool
This is an early Stanley number 2 wood plane. However, it may have a newer model frog. Because the type 4 wouldnt have had a lateral adjustment lever. Ive also read that the number 2s do not follow the type studies very well. Theres all kinds of inconsistencies. So this could be a type 5 or type 6 era plane. This sole has no markings cast into it. The frog has a B cast into it as does the lever cap. The lateral adjustment lever has one Patent date of February 24, 1888 and the Blade says patent April 19, 1892. There is a chip out of the corner of the lever cap, the knob is cracked and the tote has been repaired. The sole has two cracks. It looks to have been cracked a long time ago and is still holding together. It seems like it would still be usable. See pictures for further details. Feel free to ask any questions. Antique W. F. & J. Barnes 19th Century Mortising Machine Foot Operated Type 2
We have for your consideration an antique Barnes 19th century mortising machine. It is marked’W. & J Barnes Rockford, ILL. This is a foot-operated machine used to clean out a mortise. It features fantastic lion’s paw feet. All the knobs and bolts are free and moving as they should. There is original red pin striping that is 60-70% intact. The dimensions of this piece are 53″ tall x 56 5/16″ wide x 32 deep. It weighs 139 pounds. We believe it is a’Type 2′ version (there were 4 versions) of this machine that was made between 1880 and 1892. Type 2 added an additional wood platform to the cast iron table. Regarding the group of chisels and bits: All of the bits in the orange boxes are marked’DELTA Milwaukee’. There is also a bit without box that is marked’Delta Milwaukee 476-3. All of the chisels in the orange boxes are marked’Home Craft Power Tools. Most of these look lightly used. The tools in boxes match the labels on the boxes. There are five additional bits and chisels that are heavily used and one other part that we don’t know what it is for. The feet will be removed and the wooden crosspiece material support will be removed, so reassembly will be required upon receipt. This antique mortising machine is pre-owned. It is missing the spring that activates the foot peddle and this would need to be replaced to make this piece operational. The part of the base that supports the front left foot was broken off. It has been retapped in a stable manner so the leg can still be bolted on, but it sits back a bit further than the right leg. The piece still displays beautifully as is. Included is a group of chisels and bits, some of which are in their original boxes. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed. You really should take a look at things from the RoofTop – it just might change your whole perspective. Careful packaging is always a priority. Due to size and weight restrictions, we do not intend to offer this to International customers. The item “Antique W. F. & J. Barnes 19th Century Mortising Machine Foot Operated Type 2″ is in sale since Tuesday, July 3, 2018. This item is in the category “Collectibles\Tools, Hardware & Locks\Tools\Other Collectible Tools”.
