Vintage STANLEY USA No1 No1 1892 PLANE Old Antique Handplane Hand Tool #212
Vintage hand tools – hand plane #212. Up for sale is a gorgeous STANLEY USA No:1 smoothing PLANE, the most famous Stanley Plane of them all. This one has an 1892 cutter, rosewood handles with a low front knob, it’s a lovely little plane, not much bigger than a No:110 block plane, 145mm long only. The ruler & Redhead box of matches in the photos are for a size comparison only, not for sale. This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, a full cutter, the rear handle has an old repair to the tip of the horn, tiny tight cracks to the corners of the mouth, an iconic Stanley No:1 smoothing plane. Please check the photos as they are part of the description. All of our items are genuine vintage – that means they have been used, and have the normal wear and tear associated with a genuine vintage item.
