ALL ORIGINAL – ANTIQUE SETH THOMAS – #16 – 75″ TALL – “JEWELERS WALL REGULATOR – Circa 1885 – TIME TO DOWNSIZE – FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION. Thin rubbed and waxed walnut case is 75″ high x 23″ wide x 7 1/2″ deep – It is fitted with an 8-day, single weight, time only, Seth Thomas movement – It has it’s original glass door and bezel, 12″ dial, hands and sweeping second hand – It has it original etched damascene nickel pendulum bob and nickel weight and pulley – It comes with it’s original Seth Thomas issued winding crank which is missing the wooden knob – The winding crank also locks the lower lock but the upper lock is missing the key – This a thin case model (from front to back) which would have been produced prior to the introduction of the ST No. 19 after which both the #16 & #19 had a thicker case – Full details on these models can be found in Tran Ly’s book on Seth Thomas Clocks and Movements – In addition, the top (2) finials are barrel finials and the lower finials are tapered – Seth Thomas specialist, Andy Baudino, inspected the clock and in his expert opinion the clock was most likely manufacturing during a production design. Beautiful Seth Thomas Antique Adamatine Mantel Clock Works & Chimes Well

Absolutely beautiful antique Seth Thomas mantle clock. It has faux marble columns and comes with the pendalum and key. The clock chimes once every hour with a separate one-chime on the half-hour. The dimensions are 16″ w x 10″ h x 6″ d (or from back foot to front metal foot it is 7″). One of the back columns is broken and is loose. I tried to capture that in the photo, but it is hard to tell from the photo. I would recommend getting it professionally cleaned. It works well as is. We only have one clock repair person in our area and his waiting list is over 6 months… I did get him to briefly check it out and he said it is working properly. I found this at an estate sale, so I don’t know a lot of history behind it. A very nice and authentic example of an early Plymouth Hallow, CT. This Large, Grand, Working, Weight driven, Calendar clock measures 40 x 20 x 7. The clock face measures 12 and the calendar measures 14 inches. This is a Seth Thomas Double Dial Calendar Estate 1876 Clock. There are several minute cracks in the Rosewood Veneer, but they dont take away from the beautiful craftsmanship of this antique. Antique SETH THOMAS CLOCK Fashion 4 Southern Calendar Co Shelf Mantle Clock 1875

Offered for sale is the shown antique Seth Thomas Fashion 4 Southern Calendar Clock. Clock appears exactly as it is shown in all photographs. Clock does work as it should and holds time. Has not been actively kept running in about 8 years. Needs a good cleaning on the inside. Clock has original blue Seth Thomas Company label still inside clock. The word “Fashion” is still written beautifully in gold across the front glass door as shown. Clock has the original 3 matching wood finials. Clock has been in the same family it’s entire life. Clock stands about 30 inches tall when measuring to the top of center finial. Clock is 16 inches in width. Note – The pendulum was not attached during the photo’s, as we had just moved the clock and took it off for safety. The second to last photo shows the pendulum attached to the clock. It is a very easy on, easy off process. It simply hooks on to the movement arm. To the best of our knowledge this is the original pendulum. It resembles others that have been shown online, and we have no reason to believe it has ever been replaced or is not correct to the clock. Please message with any questions. ANTIQUE SETH THOMAS #71 WEIGHT DRIVEN REGULATOR WALL CLOCK SECONDS BEAT MOVEMENT. Antique Seth Thomas No. 71 Weight Driven Regulator Wall Clock. 68 Seconds Beating Weight Driven Movement. 13 White Enameled Dial with Black Roman Numerals. Quarter Sawn Oak Case with Double Key Locking Door Latches. Original Raised Brass Beat Scale. Original Pendulum and Weight. 60″T x 18″W x 8D. This lot comes to you AS-IS with no implied warranties or guarantees. This clock comes to you as found and it is in used condition. The clock has just been overhauled and the original movement is spotless and running just as it should keeping very accurate time. It has the ORIGINAL No. 68 seconds beat movement that is maintaining power and runs for 8-Days where each stroke of the pendulum is equal to 1 second or often referred to a 60-beat movement. The original white enameled 13 dial has been professionally restored many years ago and you can see the crazing of the underlying original painted surface. The blued finished original spade style hands are in good condition. The oak case shows off the beautiful quarter sawn grain on the backboard while the rest of the case is a beautiful medium oak finish that really highlights the grain of the wood. Both door latches work correctly and the glass appears original to the case as it has a waviness throughout. The only glaring defect I see on the case would be the small dent on the left edge of the door as shown. It is very small and goes almost undetected unless you point it out. Our inventory consists mainly of used items from 1 year old to 180 years old and usually have some type of mechanical motor or machine driving it.
