ALL ORIGINAL – ANTIQUE SETH THOMAS – #16 – 75″ TALL – “JEWELERS WALL REGULATOR – Circa 1885 – TIME TO DOWNSIZE – FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION. Thin rubbed and waxed walnut case is 75″ high x 23″ wide x 7 1/2″ deep – It is fitted with an 8-day, single weight, time only, Seth Thomas movement – It has it’s original glass door and bezel, 12″ dial, hands and sweeping second hand – It has it original etched damascene nickel pendulum bob and nickel weight and pulley – It comes with it’s original Seth Thomas issued winding crank which is missing the wooden knob – The winding crank also locks the lower lock but the upper lock is missing the key – This a thin case model (from front to back) which would have been produced prior to the introduction of the ST No. 19 after which both the #16 & #19 had a thicker case – Full details on these models can be found in Tran Ly’s book on Seth Thomas Clocks and Movements – In addition, the top (2) finials are barrel finials and the lower finials are tapered – Seth Thomas specialist, Andy Baudino, inspected the clock and in his expert opinion the clock was most likely manufacturing during a production design. ANTIQUE SETH THOMAS #71 WEIGHT DRIVEN REGULATOR WALL CLOCK SECONDS BEAT MOVEMENT. Antique Seth Thomas No. 71 Weight Driven Regulator Wall Clock. 68 Seconds Beating Weight Driven Movement. 13 White Enameled Dial with Black Roman Numerals. Quarter Sawn Oak Case with Double Key Locking Door Latches. Original Raised Brass Beat Scale. Original Pendulum and Weight. 60″T x 18″W x 8D. This lot comes to you AS-IS with no implied warranties or guarantees. This clock comes to you as found and it is in used condition. The clock has just been overhauled and the original movement is spotless and running just as it should keeping very accurate time. It has the ORIGINAL No. 68 seconds beat movement that is maintaining power and runs for 8-Days where each stroke of the pendulum is equal to 1 second or often referred to a 60-beat movement. The original white enameled 13 dial has been professionally restored many years ago and you can see the crazing of the underlying original painted surface. The blued finished original spade style hands are in good condition. The oak case shows off the beautiful quarter sawn grain on the backboard while the rest of the case is a beautiful medium oak finish that really highlights the grain of the wood. Both door latches work correctly and the glass appears original to the case as it has a waviness throughout. The only glaring defect I see on the case would be the small dent on the left edge of the door as shown. It is very small and goes almost undetected unless you point it out. Our inventory consists mainly of used items from 1 year old to 180 years old and usually have some type of mechanical motor or machine driving it. We do our best to describe them accurately however, we cannot foresee the future and old parts can break at any time without warning, and without visible flaw. We are a small family owned business and have been operating for over 19yrs. We believe in honest business practices similar to the NWACC sworn oath that is required for membership. Even though the NWACC does not enforce it, we pay special attention in trying to uphold and protect the hobby of collecting clocks and watches. The Case is an Attractive Ornate Carved Oak Wood Case with Decorative Top and Bottom. The Front Glass Tablet Has Reverse Painted Glass with Black Corners and Gold Gilded Trim. This Has a Gilbert Brass Mechanical Wind-Up’Time Only’ Regulator Movement with Calendar Function. The Paper Over Tin Dial has Black Roman Numerals and Calendar Outer Ring, Very Clean! Antique Junghans German wall clock 1890. Imported from Germany Beautiful condition around 120 years old. Pre WW1, has a nice Porcelain Dial with Junghans logo, gong rod and light walnut finish. Cleaned and serviced brass movement. Another very rare and stunning ornate Vienna wall clock. It has beautiful hand made decor, beautiful colorful wood that shows off it’s rich colors of Antique beauty. The clock is made of walnut and has amazing and stunning detail. This clock tick’s and tock’s and gongs smooth and precise. 8 day clock, gongs on the hour and on the half hour. Does come with it’s key. The outside measurements are 42 inches tall from it’s tallest peaks and 14 inches wide from it’s widest peaks and 6 3/4 inches deep. He enlisted his brother Xaver, a cabinetmaker then living in America, to acquire the assembly-line machinery for making clock parts. 1866 the first clocks followed. But there is good evidence that as far back as 1869 the 5 pointed star with a J was used although not registered until 1882. The company further expanded over years merging with other well-known German clockmakers including Lenzkirch, Thomas Haller and Gustav Becker. RARE Old Antique 8 Day INGRAHAM GARLAND Oak Regulator WALL CLOCK -RUNS

Presented for your consideration is this antique wall clock made by Ingraham. This is the rare “Garland”, 8 day, regulator model with a beautifully carved oak case. The case displays wonderful Eastlake carvings throughout with glass panels on the left and right sides. A glass pane is over the pendulum and dial. Face of the clock is paper with black Roman numerals. Works are marked with Ingraham & Co. Comes with an ornate designed pendulum and key. Guaranteed to be antique. This hard to find clock would make a great addition to any clock or timepiece collection! A small chip is out of the wood, near the bottom. Piece to hold the pendulum is loose but could easily be put back into place. The 6 on the dial was touched up at one point. Paper of the dial shows some light wear and browning from age. Clock itself has very light age wear. Overall in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details! Measures 13 3/4″ wide, 6 1/4″ deep and 39 tall.
