This is a Stanley No. 41 Millers Patent Plow Plane. This NICE Stanley No. 41 Millers Patent Plane Type 6 made only in 1883. The plane is in hard to find overall excellent condition with just light signs of use and age. The metal plane surfaces are shiny clean with full black japanning and show only light signs of age in a few places. The rosewood handle has nice lacquer finish with the “Millers Patent” mark and original owner’s name on both sides. The fillister bed has near 100% black japanning which is rare to find. The bottom of the fillister bed is shiny clean steel with light signs of use. The fillister blade is shiny clean, full original length with a nice sharp edge. The fillister fence is in excellent condition and moves easily on the clean steel rods. One of the nicer Stanley No. 41 Millers Patent Plane as you’ll find for your collection or actual woodworking use!
