Vintage Antique Cairns Leather Fire Helmet APFD On Shield Very Old Helmet. Shield has the number “4” and “APFD” on it. I believe that APFD is Asbury Park (NJ) Fire Department as. The helmet came from the estate of a fire chief in a town near there. I do not know for sure, but that is what I think. Please check the pictures carefully. This seems to be a very old fire helmet. And with age comes imperfections throughout in it’s condition. The felt liner has imperfections and has separated from the helmet- see picture seven. Up for sale is super rare one of a kind antique 1860s leather trunk owned by Abraham Lincoln then handed down to his oldest son Robert Todd Lincoln. 100% Authentic and Original! Leather over wood brass large tacks on top with some kind of Star like design on the top of trunk. Has both leather handles lock mechanism. There is some damage to the trunk some leather straps missing leather flap broken off that went on front by the lock but I still have it. Some of the metal bands are missing but there is one piece still in the trunk. What a piece of American History! This trunk came from the estate of Robert Todd Lincoln in Vermont. On the letter it says! Mary Beckwith Grand Daughter of Robert Todd Lincoln. Also signed and dated by Joseph strzesak. Notarized and stamped on the letter. This rare style 19th Century. Native American Pipe Tomahawk. These tomahawks were more obscure and especially made for high ranking chiefs, war chiefs and particularly notable leaders. The war club tomahawk features an exceptional hand-forged iron head with bat-wing cut-out and leather beaded drop. The head exhibits a fine rich deep patina evenly over the entire surface. The original haft is constructed from carved hard wood and brass tacks. The entire surface of the wood shows a nice deep patina. Haft Length – 25.5 in. Blade – 12.0 in. ULTRA RARE! WILLIS & GEIGER 40s AN-J-3A G-1 A-2 LEATHER FLIGHT JACKET BOMBER WW2

AUTHENTIC WILLIS & GEIGER WWII BOMBER JACKET. Up for sale is a super rare and original Willis & Geiger AN-J-3A. These jackets were made along with the AN-J-3, for less than a year in 1943 as a joint services replacement for the A-2 / M-422 flight jackets. The program did not succeed but a few of the jackets were made and issued during WWII. This is one of the survivors and it’s ALL ORIGINAL! Still has spec tag and name EL BERGER on chest. Size 36 tag (see measurements). Original shearling collar has beautiful blond color. I recently acquired this jacket along with an original WW2 cloth flight helmet and goggles which I have also posted for sale! Own this extremely rare piece of WW2 history! I have also had two collectors give me the following additional information. This ANJ3A is super rare because of the material of the jacket is horse hide. In the long history of US NAVY jacket type G-1 this is the only type that used horse hide for the jacket. Others are all goat skin. This information was obtained from. Full Gear – Collectors Guide on US Flying clothing from the 1920’s thru 1970’s. That is a very rare jacket indeed. There is some controversy about whether some were made with leather collars back then. This jacket has been well kept for many years. Leather is gorgeous with beautiful patina! No tears, stains or holes in leather with the exception of one very tiny hole near the shoulder seam (see last pic). Knitting only has a few small holes and stains as can be seen in the pictures. Full lining is in tact. Seams are good and tight. Buttons and zipper in great working condition. Shearling collar has aged but looks great. There is a slight musty odor from age that is typical.
