Antique / Vintage Flush Mount Fixture with “Cut Glass” Globe Light Bulbs. Lovely antique ceiling or wall fixture. Working great and looking amazing. This beauty can be used in the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, hallway, etc. This is from a North Carolina artist’s estate full of Art Deco lighting – see our store for more from this collection. Heavy-duty cast metal fixture by the Gross Chandelier Company of St. They started making lighting under that name in 1914. This is a true antique piece – not a newer reproduction. Updated wiring, and ready to be installed. The paint is looking beautiful, with some light loss here and there, but nothing that takes away from the beauty of the piece. The thick, faceted “cut glass” style bulbs ARE included (new 40 watt bulbs). The detail has such depth that one could see the definition right down to crocheting needles in her hands. Very cool antique light fixture, featuring a large shade of milk glass, solid brass fixture. Fixture retains original patina, a bit of paint and wear, light dents and a missing screw, but still displays very nicely with this wonderful large shade. New socket and heavy duty original antique cloth covered wiring (never used before, excellent, like new condition). Great for an entry way or over a large table, cool 30s art deco vibe. Measures 24″ drop and 13″ across the shade. 6 fitter (very hard to find in good, usable condition). Socket will take 100 watt bulbs or more if using an LED bulb. Includes original antique mounting hardware. Our items come from antique stores and auctions, many times we do not know the origin of our lights so some parts may be contemporary while some parts are very antique.
