Antique/Vintage cast iro n tobacco cutter made by Richmond Best Navy, Larus & Bro. Shows the number “108” on the bottom side. The hand-crank works perfectly. The blade could be sharpened by unscrewing the two screws on either side. The bed and slide are a little rusty and dusty, although in solid and sturdy shape. There is some wear and tear to the finish that would be attributed to the age of the item. Although we do not know the exact date this item would have been produced, the company segwayed into pre-sliced tobacco when it introduced its Edgeworth brand, around 1903. 7.5 inches tall. 4 inches wide (“foot to foot”‘).
