Very rare round Antique Ottoman Damari Faturan cherry amber bakelite islamic prayer beads 98 grams. Lovely and a collector piece indeed its a museum piece. This is a stunning beautiful over 100 years old ottoman Osmanli Damari dark cherry amber Faturan / bakelite islamic prayer beads. The color is wine red and better than in the photos deep cherry red stunning and rare barrel cut beads. Has a very nice smell when used or rubbed. Semi chrome tested positive. Each measuring in average approximately. 14 mm X 15 mm. Imam 35 mm long (perfect condition). Antique heavy silver coin tassel. Please note that the beads are not the exactly same size due to old cut. Do please study photos carefully this is an old antique item. You will not find another one , this prayer beads have been tested by a hot needle in an inconspicuous place revealing 100% faturan smell results and I believe were carved in the early years. The cord is multi stings nylon thick 1.5mm and will stay there a lifetime. The total weight is 98 grams. Please look at the photos as they speak for themselves. Description : An antique Whiskey Flask, probably Granite Glass Co, New Hampshire, ca. This is the GII-82 Double Eagle Pint, blown in attractive shades of Olive Amber. Plain, sheared and fire-polished mouth; crude pontil scar on base. Each side embossed with an Eagle carrying a banner, shield and arrows above an oval panel. One panel is embossed: STODDARD / N. Vintage WWII BRITISH MILITARY ANTI GLARE GOGGLES with AMBER SAFETY LENSES & CASE
A Pair of Vintage World War Two Era. Having Leather as opposed to Fabric Surrounds these are an early example of this Type of Goggles. As employed in WWII by various branches of the Military, both British and Allies. Fabric Head-Strap intact, not elasticated, strong and serviceable. Amber Tinted Glass Laminated Lenses with supple Brown Leather Surrounds. Each Lens consists of two Pieces of Glass sandwiching an adhesive Amber Tinted Film, this also acts as a safety feature to minimize the spread of Glass fragments in case of breakage. Lenses are in excellent condition, with only very minor peripheral de-lamination in places as shown clearly, with only slight signs of age and use, no major damage, no visible scratches, no chips or cracks. Both Lenses are firmly in situ. There is nothing that compromises the view in use, the Amber tint is about the same as Sunglasses, not too dark and very effective. The Supple Brown Leather. Surrounds show only very minor patina of age and use, they have no major damage, splits or structural issues, they are vented to prevent the Lenses from misting up when worn. The Eye Surrounds are Sprung on an Internal Wire Frame, this is working as designed, they sit snugly against the Face. For a more comfortable and stable fit. All the stitching, seams etc are intact and strong. The Silver Metalwork is all structurally sound with just surface patination of age and use, it has no major damage or structural issues, no rot, dents, cracks or breaks. Figural Bitters Bottle, approximate 1-Quart capacity, Philadelphia, PA origin, ca. Full-figured Indian Maiden form with sheared mouth and smooth base. Blown in attractive shades of (golden, light & medium) Amber glass. Embossed BROWNS / CELEBRATED / INDIAN HERB BITTERS within the oval shield panel and PATENTED / 1867 on reverse, near the base. The photos are probably the best description. Condition : Very Good overall with strong embossing clean exterior/interior and attractive coloration. Imperfections are noted below. Small chip on right foot with an associated hairline crack that extends both into the base & across into left shin (see close-ups #9 & #10). Typical roughness on the sheared mouth noted for descriptive accuracy. See photos for complete details and please consider them as part of the description. Description : A fine 19thC. Figural Bitters Bottle, approximate 1-Quart capacity, American NY? Barrel-form with applied, wide-collared mouth and smooth recessed base. Blown in various shades of Amber glass with an old cork lodged firmly in the mouth. Note : I photographed this bottle on a backlit sill (for accurate color representation), and also against a neutral background in natural light (for close-up details).
