THIS IS AN EXTRAORDINARY, NEVER SEEN ARVIN MODEL 1237D PHANTOM PRINCE. IN 45 YEARS OF RADIO COLLECTING, I HAVE SEEN ONLY 2 ON THE INTERNET (NOT AS GOOD CONDITION AS THIS ONE), NOT FOR SALE, AND NEVER ANOTHER IN PERSON. THE DIAL IS SIMPLY MAGNIFICENT, WITH NO RIVAL. THIS ERA ARVIN RADIO IS VERY SOUGHT AFTER, AND THIS MODEL IS RARER THAN THE RHYTHM SERIES SETS AS WELL!! IT IS A 12 TUBE CHASSIS… ALL TUBES CORRECT AND PRESENT, BUT NOT TESTED. AS YOU CAN SEE, IT IS A VERY GOOD CONDITION SET, WITH SOME MINOR FINISH ISSUES, BUT NO VENEER PROBLEMS AT ALL. THE CHASSIS IS COMPLETE, VERY CLEAN, AND ORIGINAL AS FAR AS I CAN DETERMINE. THE SPEAKER IS IN TERRIFIC SHAPE, NO TEARS IN IT. THE POWER CORD IS OLD AND FRAYED.. I WILL NOT PLUG IT IN.. PLEASE DON’T ASK. JUST LOOK AT THE COLORING ON THE DIAL.. AND IT IS IN PERFECT SHAPE. IT HAS PUSHBUTTONS FOR STATIONS, AND ALL BUTTONS ARE INTACT. THE GRILLCLOTH IS ORIGINAL AND IN GREAT SHAPE. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO GOOGLE THIS SET. YOU WILL SEE VERY FEW…. AND THEY NEVER COME UP FOR SALE. I HATE TO PART WITH THIS RADIO, BUT IT THAT TIME IN MY LIFE TO DO SO…. It has come to my attention that the main power transformer may have been replaced. I have no knowledge of it being done, but this transformer does appear different from the original diagram for the set found on the internet. I apologize for not noticing that prior to listing.. Vintage old wood antique tube radio ZENITH model 6D526 Stunning piece here

This is the 1941 Zenith 6 tube radio and it is gorgeous. This is the highly sought after model 6D526. This little cutie is 11.75″ long x 8.25″ tall x 7.75 deep. The cabinet is in beautiful condition and I recently refinished the very nice Walnut veneers. The radio displays its nice dark colors and has plenty of beautiful wood grains throughout. The cabinet is an “Ingraham” design, has a beautiful rounded top which is complimented with a “waterfall” shaped front. The framed in popular black Zenith dial face is in very good condition and has the popular Zenith “Z” pointer. The ribbed speaker grill is a wonderful touch adding to the radio’s striking initial appearance.. The two Zenith knobs have been cleaned and resealed. A built in factory installed “Loop” antenna receives stations very well across the dial. There is a new dial lamp, new AC Power cord, and new Filter/Audio capacitors installed. The 6 tubes have been tested and the remaining components were checked & replaced if needed. This is a wonderful example of the American Radio Industry waiting for you to display in your favorite place in the home or office. The radio plays and receives stations excellent with the built in “Loop” antenna. There are no issues. The speaker is in excellent condition and has very good volume, tone, and clarity. For sale is an antique two socket art deco chandelier. It features a beautiful glass body and partially frosted shade. The cut glass rim and center really stand out against the middle frosting on the shade. I acquired this in the condition you see it. There are some signs of age and wear, including some small paint specs/spatter located on the inside of the bowl. These come right off with no more than a finger nail. There are no major breaks or cracks. Only some small knicks around the finial (not visible when assembled) and some lines in the body. SEE PHOTOS FOR FULL DETAILS. Measurements- The shade measures 12 in diameter. When mounted the whole light is 16-1/2 tall. Please review all photos and ask any questions prior to purchasing. Welcome to North Lawrence Antiques. Offered here is a vintage ZENITH 1938 model 12S268 with”robot” dial. T some time this radio had a 7s-258 chassis installed (see photos) in place of its original 12s268. Measures 36”h X 38 1/4”w X 12”d. From a recent local estate. Receives and plays stations well. Looks to me like it was refinished at some point – but not recently. Has 2 small veneer chips which I have shown closeup photos of alongside a quarter to give you a better idea of their size. We are located fairly midway between Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio. Most items i list are from local estates and usually they are in areas of collecting that I have little or no knowledge of.
