1881 Ithaca Calendar Clock Co, Ithaca, NY, “3 1/2 Parlor” Shelf clock with the original movements – 8 day time and strike upper movement (by E N Welch) and a patented perpetual calendar mechanism lower movement. The walnut case has ebony carvings. Both dials and hands appear to be original. The silvered accents and numbers have been touched up with silver paint. The 2 piece backboard, top carving and the beveled pendulum are excellent replacements. The clock is unrestored and will clean up easily. Calendar movement advances properly when manually activated. The case has much of the old finish remaining. The movement ticks for a few minutes then stops. A nice older restoration ready for your final touches!
