This recently-refurbished circa 1930 Mills Mint and Jackpot Front Vendor, serial number 196655, was produced as a collaboration of the Mills company’s most successful 1920’s slot machines: the Front OK Vendor and the Jackpot. The central jackpot viewing window is surrounded by brightly painted exploding patterns on the dimpled concave front, framed by the two long and narrow windows (also bordered by painted bright colors and patterns) that would have displayed and dispensed mints. This piece also features finished and ribbon accented oak frame, gooseneck coin slot, bullseye coin detector with viewing window, and covered combination jackpot key. The curved and dimpled metal top displays the signature Mills 1776 Liberty Bell, as well as painted decorative owl, leaf, and arrow designs. The machine was restored at some point by the Southern Vending Company; it is in good overall condition, but as of the most recent test the vendor mechanism does not function properly and would require new mechanical linkage. The locks for the front vendor and the rear cover have also been removed. Please consult images and message with any questions. This item weighs 87 pounds, stands 26″ high, 16″ wide, and 16 deep.
