Antique Qing Chinese Gilt Silver Enamel Fingernail Protector Guard. Gorgeous antique silver (tested) fingernail guard from the the Qing period. It is very colorful and decorated in enamel with five auspicious symbols and a frog at the top area where the guard slips onto the finger. The nail guard is adjustable and will fit just about any size finger This guard can also be suspended from a chain that could slip behind the body of the frog and be worn as a pendant. It measures approximately 4″ long (10.1 cm) by 0.6″ (1.5 cm) wide and weighs 13.17 grams.
