Circa the early 20th century. As seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Missing original front crank handle. (isn’t really needed). (see red arrows in pics 7, 9 & 11). Two broken mounting holes at base. (one broken at each side, see red arrows in pics 2, 4, 6, 11 & 12). The two remaining mounting holes are in good shape and should be enough to anchor the vise down. One of the two broken holes has enough remaining to be bolted down with a large washer to help secure to bench. (see red arrow in pics 2, 4 & 12). Otherwise, the vise is in Very Good vintage condition and is fully functional. We lightly cleaned the threaded rod with wire brush and applied some WD-40 and now the crank wheel/jaws adjust easy & smooth. Fully functional combo anvil-vise tool that just needs new jaw faces and mounting hardware. Measures 23 long, overall, when jaws are fully closed. Jaws measure 3-7/8 wide and open approx.
