Vintage old wood antique tube radio ZENITH Mdl 6-S-527 A Real Beauty

This is a 1941 Zenith 6 tube radio and it is simply gorgeous. This is the popular model 6 S 527. The size is 15.75″ long x 8.5″ tall x 7.25 deep. The cabinet is in beautiful condition and I just refinished it. There are very nice Walnut/Maple veneers. Nice light and dark colors plus plenty of nice wood grains throughout. The big framed in Dial Face really catches the eye. The large Brass Bezel houses 5 functional Push Buttons, the three “Z” knobs, and the “Z” brass station pointer which functions as it should. There are rounded corners. The three “Z” knobs have been cleaned, resealed and are tight to their shafts. There is a new dial lamp (2x), new AC Power cord, and new Filter/Audio capacitors installed. The 6 tubes have been tested and the remaining components were checked & replaced if needed. This is a wonderful example of the American Radio Industry waiting for you to display in your favorite place in the home or office. The radio plays and receives stations excellent with its built in “LOOP” Antenna. There are no issues. The speaker is in excellent condition and has very good volume, tone, and clarity. These models are excellent players and great lookers! Thank you very much for stopping in! Note: The far right Push Button MUST be pushed in to allow you to surf the dial using the Tuning Knob. Antique Zenith vintage tube radio restored and working

It does not get any better than that!! Radio was recapped, all tubes tested and replaced as needed, chassis cleaned and controls lubricated. SW is more active late at night and may require an outdoor antenna. New bright green magic eye tube was installed. Cabinet was cleaned and hand rubbed with Finish Restorer. There are some minor wood blemishes and finish imperfections (see pictures). All original knobs and push buttons are present and operate properly. Paper sticker is present. Antique 1935 Zenith Chrome Front S829 Tombstone Tube Radio

For sale is a wonderfully conditioned 1935 Zenith S829 tombstone radio. The original cabinet finish is one of the best I’ve ever seen for this radio. As shown in the photos, there are minor scratches here and there and some finish loss –the most on the original knobs and around the knobs from use, but amazingly good for a 84 year old radio. The chrome front is clean and without any rust, or pitting and the original grill cloth is in excellent condition without any damage. The chassis and speaker are also very clean and original — the chassis looks to have been restored by a previous owner as I did not have it electronically restored. I did plug the unit in and the radio played loud and clear for the few minutes I have it on. Antique Zenith “The Waltons” Tombstone Wood Case Tube Radio Model 9-S-232. Only includes what is pictured. Please review all the pictures closely. Please review all the pictures to determine the condition. The knobs are the original wood Zenith knobs. The speaker sounds great! Measures about 23 inches tall, by about 17 inches across, by about 12 1/2 inches wide. We tried to take pictures of the important features, but we are not experts on these so feel free to contact if you have any questions. Vintage old wood antique tube radio ZENITH model 5D2611 Fresh

This is the 1942 Zenith 5 tube radio and it is very pretty. This is the model 5D2611. This little cutie is 13″ long x 7.5″ tall x 6.5 deep. The cabinet is in very nice condition and it has been recently refinished by me. Appears to be a Maple veneer with wonderful wood grains throughout. The cabinet has rounded corners and I repaired some minor damage on each front corner and behind the left knob. The black dial face is very good displaying some stress but all numbers/logo are very legible. T he brass “Z” pointer has been polished and work very well with a new dial cord installed. A built in factory installed “Loop” antenna receives stations very well across the dial. There is a new dial cover, new dial lamp, new speaker grill cloth, new AC Power cord, and new Filter/Audio capacitors installed. The tubes have been tested and the remaining components were checked & replaced if needed. This is a wonderful example of the American Radio Industry waiting for you to display in your favorite place in the home or office. Vintage/Antique ZENITH 7H820-U Bakelite Tube Radio Working. The radio is in very good vintage working condition. I could not pick anything up on the FM 45 band. Similar to the one that was used in the movie War of the Worlds. Approximate Dimensions (WHD): 15 1/4″ X 9″ x 8. My dad used to work on old radio’s and TV’s and this is one of the radio’s. I myself know nothing about old radios so will be leaving everything up to you. As I cannot give a more accurate description, I have included lots of pictures and a video. THE RADIO AND SPEAKERS HAVE BEEN FULLY AND BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED ELECTRONICALLY FROM THE CHASSIS UP. EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT INCLUDING THE CLOCK AND TURNTABLE. THERE HAS BEEN NO RESTORATION ON THE CABINET THAT I KNOW OF AND APPEARS ORIGINAL. WILL CONSIDER MEETING TO DELIVER IN A 2 HOUR RADIUS FROM FRESNO. I HAVE HAD A COUPLE OF PEOPLE DOUBTING THIS MODEL 602 RADIO IS A ZENITH SINCE THEY CAN’T FIND IT ON THE NET. PLEASE REFER TO PAGE 8-48 IN RIDERS AND YOU WILL SEE A 10 TUBE SCHEMATIC AND PARTIAL TOP OF CHASSIS SHOWING THE PARTS LAYOUT AND EXACT MATCH. IT ALSO SHOWS THE DUAL SPEAKER ON THE SCHEMATIC AS WELL. ALSO, AS A REMINDER A LOT OF THE RADIO MANUFACTURERS BASICALLY CONTRACTED OUT THE WOOD CONSOLES AS THEY DID NOT MAKE THE CABINET THEMSELVES. THIS IS COMMON KNOWLEDGE. SINCE YOU AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN A ZENITH SUCH AS THIS IT VERY WELL MAY BE ONE OF A KIND. THE REAR ZENITH NAMEPLATE SAYS MODEL 602 AND HAS A S/N OF 1503080. THE FRONT ALSO HAS A SMALL ZENITH NAMEPLATE. WHEN I GET TIME I WILL POST A PIC OF THE REAR NAMEPLATE AS WELL AS UNDERNEATH THE CHASSIS SO YOU CAN OBSERVE WHAT A BEAUTIFUL RESTORATION JOB MY FRIEND DID. I ALSO HAVE A 11X17 SCHEMATIC THAT WILL BE PROVIDED WITH THE RADIO. The tube complement is 56(2), 57(1), 58(3), 59 (3), 80. I estimate the vintage about mid 1930’s.
