Vintage Used GERSTNER MACHINIST TOOL CHEST OAK 11 DRAWER ANTIQUE Model 052 USA. Please see pictures for best description. All drawers open and close and all drawers are in great condition. The spring on the left top latch is sprung. The leather handle is excellent. Minor rust on all clasps. Measures 26″ x 16″ x 10. The chest weighs just over 32 pounds. Welcome to Vintage Tools Melbourne. Vintage hand tools – hand plane #216. Up for sale is fantastic & scarce Genuine PRESTON Patented Cast Iron & Hardwood, closed handle infill PLANE. An unusual plane, it has a removable cast iron screw cap & the patent number 656 struck on the toe of the plane, plus also on the wood under the blade. Weight – 1.4kg. This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use, some scratches to the sole & light pitting to the sides & dent on the toe, a couple of small chips to the casting at the very end of the sole by the handle, a lovely & scarce plane in as found condition. Please check the photos as they are part of the description. Antique STANLEY SWEETHEART SLANT LID TOOL BOX 20 Long Wood Plane Toolbox. Really nice vintage old Stanley tool box. Has the metal tag on the lid, I believe it originally had a paper/ painted label on the front. Handle, hinges, and little locking hooks on the sides are all in nice condition. The box itself is in pretty nice shape as well, although there are a few paint splatters on it as you can see in the pics. Only a few of theme though. The bottom boards are a little bit loose from being split. A great rare original Stanley Sweet Heart tool chest. Came from a local estate, comes as seen in photos. Big Antique Japanese Crosscut Pull Saw. I have owned it over 10 years. This is cross cutting, or felling. It is a one man buck saw. This is the biggest one man crosscut saw I have seen come out of Japan. 27.25 inches of cutting area on teeth. 45.5 including handle overall length. Has Makers Mark, and some Stamps. Handle is original to the saw, as is the scabbard. Scabbard is rough, but again, it came with the saw, and it will go with it. I will be liquidating my Japanese hand tools, I have several hundred planes and chisels I will be listing, and some more saws. Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique Authentic 1862 U. Civil War Light Cavalry Sword with Original Scabbard, made by the Providence Tool Co. Providence Rhode Island USA. This Has a Brass Basket Cross Guard with Leather Covered Wood Handle. The Sword Blade is Signed U. 1862″ on One Side, and “Prov. On The Other Side. The JM Inspector’s Mark is the Marking for John Maggs who Inspected Swords for the Civil War in 1862. This Sword is in Original Unrestored Condition with a Wonderful Aged Patina, As Pictured!!! The Sword measures approx. 40 3/4″ Long with a 34 3/4″ Blade. The Total Length of the Sword in Scabbard is 42 1/2. The Scabbard is the Original Steel Metal Scabbard with Two Loops. It is in Good Original Condition, as Pictured. The Sword Slides Nicely In and Out of the Scabbard! The Blade Has Darkened From Age and Has Some Pitting On the Top Part of The Sword.
