Antique 1920 Redeye Singer Sewing Machine in Oak Cabinet with Treadle G Series. Great old wood -nice patina. One of the sturdiest and simplest of machines to operate. Weight is about 55 POUNDS. This is a great old SEWING MACHINE & cabinet. Singer Sewing Machine Details: This sewing machine is in a treadle cabinet, and is not motorized ” RED EYE ” decal was used on Singer model 66 from 1910 to 1925. The Singer “Red Eye” gets its name from the beautiful red iconic design used throughout its decoration. Several other machines earn names frm their embellishments such as the Sphinx, Lotus, and several other machines. Serial number of this Singer 66 machine is G0926108 and made circa 1920. Approximately 30″ tall 36″ wide and 16 deep. 5 drawers-Includes machine, cabinet, treadle and belt. Condition: I inherited the machine from my mother years ago. Cabinet needs some cleaning and care, veneer peeling in few areas, but no major damage. See photos for serial number. The knobbed drawers pull out to store material or any projects you may have. Perfect for sewing, use as a desk or very interesting as an occasional table. It is a handsome sturdy collector’s classic. ANTIQUE FRENCH PALAIS ROYAL EGG SHAPED MOTHER OF PEARL SEWING ETUI c1840

Here on offer is a rare antique French Palais Royal, large egg shaped, mother of pearl sewing etui, circa 1840. Often they produced sewing tools and the etuis to hold them. This gorgeous etui has a large egg shaped case carved in iridescent mother of pearl with gilt metal fittings. The exterior is in good condition, it has some minor wear to the gilt and there is a minor crack in the mother of pearl, on the lower section, just under the opening plate, which is stable and secure. The etui opens by pushing on the thumb plates. It has a pad with cream silk velvet on the upper surface and silk on the lower, it was designed to lift out to provide a small storage space below. The pad has looped fittings, they hold scissors, a bodkin, thimble, needle case and a small scent bottle, one is empty and would have held a large eyed needle for threading ribbon or cord through clothes, shoes etc. The interior is in good order. I believe the tools are all gold plated on a metal base with delightful classical designs in shallow relief, but I cant see any makers marks? The bottle retains the original glass stopper (which I havent removed) beneath the hinged lid, the glass body is without damage. The hinge on the bottle has split and still works but can be repaired if required. The scissors are missing the tip on one blade. The needle case is stunning, but has a small spilt to the seam on the side. Please see my pictures. The bodkin has a beautiful faceted body fitted to the cut steel handle. This very rare etui is being offered in great used antique condition. The etui measures 5.6 (14.2cm) long by 3.25 (8.5cm) high. A rare find and a wonderful collectable needlework piece. This listing is for a very nice working Singer Featherweight 221 portable sewing machine. The machine comes with a case and a few accessories. Basically, what is pictured. It powers on and runs in forward and backward. There is a small section of black electrical tape on the cord. I believe this is a very good running machine. The case has been duct taped (by someone else) on the corners and edges. It is the original case for the machine. The machine has its bobbin holder case. The graphics and overall appearance are nice, with a little wear on the flip up plate. Nice machine, but with all vintage machine, it may need cleaned or serviced before using. Gorgeous Vintage / Antique Kerosene Lamp. We machine polished all the solid brass parts, as this was heavily tarnished. It is a center draft, round wick lamp. Large circular body with a waisted stem and a flaring circular pedestal foot. This is the Colonial or Sewing Lamp by Plume & Atwood. It has a Consolidated flame spreader. Photo #12 shows the original ad for this lantern (ad not included – we only have the photo). Total height including chimney: 17 1/4. Height from base to the top of the brass holders for the chimney: 10 1/2. Base diameter: 6 1/4. Diameter at widest point: 8. Chimney height: 7 1/2. You’re going to LOVE it!
