ANTIQUE TIFFANY & CO NEW YORK BOWIE KNIFE CIVIL WAR ERA 1837-? Original Antique marking of Tiffany & Co. New York Bowie Knife. Civil War Era 1837-? Very Beautiful brass rivets on the grip, the wood grip is showing its age with some chipping. Look at the peen on the pommel, original with patina. The brass fittings are showing original uncleaned verdigris. The blade is showing the patina that only comes from over 100 years of age. Tiffany and Company clearly stamped on the ricasso, with somewhere to the New York under the Tiffany and Company. This knife is in excellent condition for its age, maybe a small blemish/ flea bite or two on the edge of the blade ; Knife has some staining or age spots. Approximately Knife is heavy 427.91 grams. Approximately Blade Is 9 3/4. Approximately Knife 15 1/4 overall. Super Rare & Super Old. Ive been doing this for a while. And for the doubters, which I invariably get each time I list a knife- this knife has been verified by one of the foremost authorities on edge weapons. 4 x Original Victorian Porcelain Chemist / Pharmacy / Apothecary Jars, in Pink. All 4 jar bodies and 2 of the lids are in good condition for age, although 1 of the jars have some chips to the base edge. 2 of the lids have unfortunately been damaged and glued. However, these could be potentially repaired professional, which should add value to the items. There is also some general wear and marks to the colour / glaze and some additional incidental chips. In spite of the above, they are beautiful, rare and historical items, which will presumably will only be used for display, so restoration of the 2 lids, is not essential. 26.5cm high with lid, 15cm wide. This anvil is in used shape and does have some damage to make note of. The tip of the horn has some damage. The table has some damage along the edge and can be seen in the photos provided for the listing. The “Hay Budden” markings are faded away, but there is enough there to know it is a Hay Budden anvil. The serial number is hard to make out, but it appears it starts with a “1-2″ (see last photo). Please review the photos provided for this listing to get an idea of the condition of this anvil. The clock also comes with the time card holder and a box of time cards that were used in the New York City shop that it came from. The clock is not currently working, but could easily be restored to working condition. It still rings a bell when you pull the timestamp lever! Condition A-: Professional restoration to remove tape and slight foxing. Paper with linen backing. View pictures for exact condition. Up for sale is one of the most sought after of David Klein’s posters for TWA, depicting a vibrant abstract view of Time Square with bright, electric colors. The original version of this poster was created in 1956, then updated once TWA entered the Jet Age. Estimated year of publication is circa 1964 for this rarely seen version of the poster. A year after it was first issued, a version of this poster was acquired by the Museum of Modern Art for their permanent collection and also resides in the Library of Congress. A true work of art. This version of the poster has the tagline “Up Up and Away TWA” in a triangular shape on the lower right corner. This poster is a must-have for collectors of air travel posters, TWA memorabilia, and those with an interest in mid-century modern décor. No tears or holes. Minor extremely small brown spot on lower left corner; a very small, slight discoloration in one blue panel area; and slight raised area where tape was removed in one spot on bottom left corner. Poor – Fair Condition. Not tested at all. Assumed not working, and requires further repairs and maintenance. Fine wears and chip damages. Both figurines (on the sides) have broken wings. Front clock face has fine crackle patterns. Some fading or missing decorations on the numbers. Some minor bents on the movement hands. Some obvious dust and residue inside the clock. Some metal discolorations and rusts. No dangling or loosened parts inside (when I gently shake this clock). Will carefully pack this clock (w/ the pendulum). Circa: late 19th – early 20th century, America. Height: 12″ inches Base size: 15-1/4″ x 5-1/4 inches.
