Rare antique Halloween postcard featuring a haunting sepia illustration of a witch emerging behind three carved jack-o’-lanterns with an original Halloween verse warning of witches on Halloween night. The unusual horizontal composition and dramatic artwork give this postcard exceptional display appeal. Postmarked October 31, 1939 (Halloween Day) with a 1¢ George Washington stamp.
