This exceptional Native American Nez Perce “Sally Bag” is a beautiful example of traditional woven craftsmanship, made using finely prepared corn husks. A staple of Nez Perce culture, these bags were used for gathering seasonal plants and roots, making them both functional and decorative. The intricate weaving pattern and earthy tones reflect the deep connection the Nez Perce have with their natural surroundings. This piece is a remarkable testament to their skill and artistry. Condition: Very good overall condition; general wear, minor darkening of fabric in spots; kindly see photos. Measurements: 11 inches tall, 7 inches wide. Dates to: Late 1800s / Early 1900s. 4 Hat Collection and Hatbox and Stand. Clemar, by Wesco black straw hat with burgundy velvet ribbon. Union made knit hat, velvet. Sally Viclor, red straw Hat with Red ribbon and off-white flower. Gertrude Menczer Deep Red velvet with Flowers and inside hair combs. Comes with 2 Hatbox Lcie Cunninghams (not in good condition, can be fixed). & new flower hat box, top is faded. Plus Vintage Thread spool, I used for Hat Stand. Plus, I added a Dollie.
