Antique hand carved wood Black Forest novelty pocket watch holder, display stand. Finely carved with the fully dimensional figure of a rabbit or hare. Beautifully modelled and realistically rendered. The rabbit is posed alongside an opened tree stump, with a hook to display a pocket watch, locket or portrait miniature. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. Some typical nicks to the tips of the leaves and a chip to the wood on the edge of the base as shown.
