Antique Dunn & Bennet Co. Polychrome Tureen, Excelsior Pattern, c. This stunning antique tureen, crafted by Dunn & Bennet Co. Of Hanley, England (circa 1870s), boasts its iconic beehive mark and the beautiful “Excelsior” pattern. This design features stylized floral panels adorning the tureen (including cover and underplate), while the cover’s handle showcases an elegant ribbon motif. Platter: 16″ x 12″. Tureen: 14″ (handle to handle) x 8.5″ wide. Cover: 12″ long x 8.25″ wide. Capacity: Comfortably holds 12 cups, up to 14 at brim. The tureen exhibits very minor clean crazing on the lower bowl. There are a few small, unnoticeable nicks on the underside of the lid, along with a minor chip near the ladle hole (which I have pictured) None of which are visible when in use or display. Considering its age and use, this piece remains in exceptionally good antique condition. Please review all photos for a closer look. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

Old Hopi Polychrome Coil Basket – 1920s – 1940s. This basket is nicely woven – a tight, even weave without damage. The first photo shows the front. The second one shows the back. The basket’s design shows a striking star pattern in red, yellow and black on the creamy willow background. It is in super condition but obviously old, with mellow colors (strong but not bright). See photos for details of design and condition. There’s a loop for hanging. The basket is about 11 inches in diameter. The wicker basket had a Museum of Northern Arizona tag with the date of 1936. This is of similar vintage. Please check out the other two Hopi baskets I’ve listed. I’m of an age where I’ve got to start thinking about where my collections of baskets, kachinas, rugs, Zuni fetishes, pottery and other Native American art will go. Maker: Unknown maker, but it is Yavapai or Western Apache in origin. Age: Antique, circa 1890s. Size: Measures 16 3/4″ across and 4 1/8″ deep.
