19th century watercolor painting by Adelchi deGrossi, is of a stylish Italian woman, holding a musical instrument. This is a fine quality, and strong colored example of the artist’s work. The picture is of a Roman girl with a small-bodied guitar and is signed and inscribed Roma lower right. Adelchi de Grossi was an Italian artist who was born in 1852. The artist died in 1892.
