A beautiful antique Hanley mantel clock featuring a warm patinated brass dial, classic Roman numerals, and a traditional gong strike movement. The clock is currently running and striking properly, making it an excellent candidate for continued use or for a light professional servicing to bring it to peak performance. A wonderful early mantel clock with authentic age, character, and presence. This Hanley mantel clock is a spring-driven time and strike clock with an attractive brass chapter ring and decorative pierced center. It runs and strikes as it should, but has not been recently serviced and would benefit from a routine cleaning and oiling, which is normal and expected for clocks of this age. The wooden case retains its original finish and warm tone, showing honest age-related wear, including a visible side seam/case line consistent with antique construction and age. This does not affect operation and is clearly shown in photos for transparency. The hinged glass bezel opens smoothly, allowing easy access for setting and regulation. Inside, you’ll find the original pendulum and gong strike assembly. ? Runs and keeps time (unserviced). ? Strikes correctly on the hour. ? Complete with pendulum and gong. ? Offered is this Seeburg, Select-O-Matic 100 jukebox. It is not working, but lights up and looks cool in the cave! With a manufacturing date of February 25, 1954, this piece of furniture is quite a prize! It is missing the back panel. The back panel is were the amplifier unit is located. Therefore, this machine does NOT have the amplifier. But it does have the curved glass cover. The keys are all present. The signage for coin in is present, but not installed. It hold 45-RPM records (100 of them). And it lights up when plugged in, but that lone bulb just illuminates the interior of the record player and selection line. Did I mention that this thing is HEAVY? I came to own this from a Yard Sale in Los Angeles, CA back in the early 90’s. The owner was a Property Master in the TV and Film Industry and said it was used early-on as a prop on Happy Days. I do not know that to be factual, just passing along the story. This machine has a few dents and bumps, but for being some 60+ years old, it is doing well. Local pick-up ONLY at no cost.
