Circa 1890 Slag glass Gas Lamp converted to electric. This is a large and unique antique, please feel free to message me with any questions, they will be. The patents that were visible date to the 1890’s but this was only on the sockets which were added at a later date than the initial crafting of the lamp , gas lamps that were crafted during that era are known to have not been signed, I have looked for a maker mark without success , but there were particular areas I chose not to venture for fear of the obvious. Note; cleaning this item was a 5 hour project, it had been in storage for 20+ years, no cleaners or buffers were used, only damped rag with warm water and couple drops of Dawn dish-washing liquid, dry clothes , and Q-tips.
