Antique blue oval lens glasses. These have a very fine wire framework. I was informed they are possibly late Georgian/early victorian. They come in a turned wooden case. There is a slight split in the lid of the case which I have shown in the pictures, this is old as the lid is still very secure. The lens in natural light look to be a lavender blue in colour.

Jappaned Brass, leather wrapped brass construction. Amazing Antique Display piece. Great addition for your collection! Condition: Great display condition! The leather wrapping shows some average wear expected from age, and the shade cover on one side has loose stitching. The jappaned brass show some mild scratching with a few areas of loss/exposed brass. There is some patina to the brass as well. The center wheel is tough to turn and requires a good amount of force to fully extend/detract. One objective lens shows moderate wear (see photos). The casing around one ocular lens is dented. An early Boston weight driven banjo clock, ca. 1832, signed faintly on the dial, Warranted (upper dial) John J. Low & Co / Boston (lower dial). Mahogany case with gilt frames, with interesting egg & dart `rope type’ inlay…. Original glasses (upper has crack). Probable original lead weight, pendulum (bob 2 7/8), sidearms, hand cut hands. Eagle top finial has age, may be original, threaded piece broke in chimney. Upper latch does not close, as threaded last 1/4 of belaying pin broke off. Well made movement with alternate train and deep cut teeth… Single screw rear mounted. Mvmt measures 2 5/8 x 3 15/16. Lowe box measures 9 7/8 x 7 9/16. Clock measures about 29 to top of chimney, w/o finial. A wonderful example in fine, as found condition. I have sent extra pics to 2 requests, and checked the box to send them to the listing for all to see, but that option does not appear to be working – if you need pics of the weight, finial, back of clock, etc. Please ask and ye shall receive.
