GORGEOUS and RARE vintage Dresden brass wreath featuring 64 various animals, holidays and figures! The large wreath is rare with the brass bow & sweet ornate characters/animals of varying shades of brass -Perfect to hang all year long! What makes this wreath so AMAZING is the attached mirror! I debated about keeping it because Ive never seen one attached to a mirror as a collector! This bow-topped Dresden vintage brass wreath was created as a limited edition in the mid century. The company made specialty holiday wreaths with figures created from candy molds and Dresden ornament molds. The wreaths are handmade of brass metal with each figure placed on an individual brass wire that allows for gentle movement and placement of flowers and holiday adornments within your wreath as you customize to your exacting taste. No two are exactly alike. Measures roughly 16 tall with 64 characters. The characters are posable and could be repositioned to taste. The figures all have varying degrees of tarnish as this is a very old Dresden. One turkey figure is broken and is hanging unattached but wrapped around the wire so unnoticeable that its not originally affixed. The mirror could use a more thorough cleaning since I did a precursory one prior to pictures. The back has a crude wire for hanging. Please see all pictures for more specifics. Beautiful set of 9 Victorian ornaments. 2 silver/blue parasols, Cotton bird with Dresden wings attached to 4 gold bells with clappers and tinsel, double sided wire wrapped green indent with angel scrap on one side, green wire wrapped basket with tuck sheer flower and greens, wire wrapped turquoise double indent boat with twin Dresden sails, wired wrapped silver swan, green rattle with tinsel hanger and tuck sheer flower, and gold beaded fantasy ornament with wire wrapped ball and bell with clapper. There is some vintage paint and silvering loss, spotting and scratches, loose and broken wires, dark age spots, and creases/tears to die cuts.
