Hand-blown cranberry glass body with gilt floral decoration. Brass hinged cap with engraved detail inside the lid. Original glass stopper intact. Attached chain with finger ring for carrying or attaching to a chatelaine. Lid opens and closes securely; hinge in good condition. 1.75 tall (including cap). This lovely little perfume or vinaigrette bottle would have originally been used to hold perfume or aromatic vinegar, carried by ladies as a fashionable accessory. Condition: Very good antique condition with light wear to the gilt, age patina to metal, and some minor surface scratches from use. Glass stopper present (often missing on pieces of this age). Pink Cranberry and White Victorian Shade for Hanging Oil Lamp Light. I believe the shade is hand blown, it has factory tool marks and bubbles and swirl lines all common to antique shades made in the late 1800s. About 6 inches tall and fits a 14 fitter. It is not perfectly shaded which is also common but does fit nicely a 14 fitting. Couple minor chips on larger rim where it would sit on the frame unseen.
