The glass font is embossed and very elegant in its shape. The lamp comes complete with matching embossed brass frame and shade crown. It has been electrified. It is missing a couple of the prisms, but they are very easy to find. The shade is white milk glass with pink glass cased exterior. This Victorian hanging lamp measures 28″ from top to bottom, and 12-1/2″ across. The Shade is 11-3/4″ across at the bottom, and 5-3/8″ across at top. Shade is 7-1/4 tall. Shade is in Excellent condition, no nicks or dings, no chips, cracks, nicks, or hairlines. Brass frame is in Excellent condition, with no bends or breaks, and no repairs. Offered is this very nice Gamewell fire alarm gong. This gong has a 15 bell and is made out of cherry. The gong is in very good condition with some normal cracking to the wood joints as seen in the photos. The original mechanism was removed and replaced with a single striking mechanism. The glass is painted in gold leaf Fire Co No 1, which could easily be stripped and removed from the glass. The door lock is intact, and a key is included. The fig leaf and rosettes are all original as is the bell and the nut. The gong is overall 32 from the top of the fig leaf to the bottom of the case. A very fine and hard to find gong! With a little research one could find an original mechanism and install it and have a complete gong. D U E TO SEVERAL QUESTIONS THE LAST PHOTO WAS ADDED TO SHOW SIZE COMPARISON WITH AN 8FEATHER TOP GONG.
