1950s-40s original rare BARTON usa made neat auto accessory for the rear windown–old brake stop light–tested and it works fine–old 6v bulbs installed–i do not know how it wires up or installs—-super cool–neat authentic accessory from long ago—-used with slight wear but authentic not a repop like many nowadays. Antique 1930s ARMSTRONG Cross Frame Bobby Roadster Bicycle. This Antique ARMSTRONG Cross Cross Frame Roadster is and odd bird with all the deluxe features. I was told it’s was a Bobby Bike / an English Police Bicycle and Pretty sure its from the late 1930s. The Bike appears to be an Armstrong bike built by Armstrong before it was bought by the Raleigh Bicycle Company. Unique Cross Frame (It’s Super Tall), 28″x 1 1/2″ Dunlop rims with tires to match. Rod Brakes attached to Sturmey Archer Drum Brakes, The Rear Drum is a Sturmey Archer KB7 3 speed Drum Brake, The Bikes has a Lohmann Generator and light (Untested), a ZIB Leather Saddle, Rack, some kind of wheel locking Dohiggy, and Drop Stand. The Bike is Huge looks to be 68cm center to center with about 36 stand over the bike may of been made custom for someone super tall. Cool Old bike, Little info out there and rarely seen, bike is as is, I have had it for a while and never worked on it, English bikes are not my cup of tea.
