1960’s Bradford Celestial Rotating Christmas Tree Topper Star. Here is a rare vintage atomic star celestial light Christmas Tree Topper which is made of plastic. The topper is in very good condition. I’m amazed at the condition considering it’s age. The globe pieces have some very. Light scratches and one tab is missing on one of the globe pieces but will not affect the use or look of the topper. Please be careful when removing and reinstalling the globes to correctly position the color wheel/spinner. It can be tricky to line up the tabs – you don’t want to break them off. There is a small amount of paint missing on the base and the base is marked Bradford. The original UL tag is still on the cord. The cord is white but discolored from age. The lightbulb socket is in excellent shape – no cracks or corrosion. The wire that holds the cylinder is also in excellent shape. It doesn’t show any signs of being bent. There is a bulb included and was working when the pictures were taken. The colored cylinder has stars and is in great shape other than some scratches. Be careful of hot bulbs when moving the star. A warm/hot bulb can warp/melt the cylinder. When positioned correctly, the color spinner rotates from the heat of the bulb thus creating many pretty colors of light on the walls. Please make sure to give it a few minutes for the bulb to heat up and it’ll work well. The box is included. It’s in really good shape. Cellophane on the box. There is instructions on the inner flaps of the box. This DOES NOT include the original stand or the stand in the picture which is a kitchen funnel that I used to hold the light up to take pictures.
