Antique German Boxed Set of Putz 10 Stick-Leg Sheep / Large Ram / Sheppard Boy. ALL are genuine antique or vintage, I do NOT sell reproductions! Given that they are all old, most will bear the expected marks of age and use. If they have visible flaws, I will detail those in the listing. This is a fabulous set, an antique German Putz shepherd boy with his flock of ten fluffy, woolly stick-leg sheep with long tails, along with a large ram all nestled in a bed of light green paper straw inside a cardboard box that is showing its age. It has loose side flaps and the top is missing one side flap but no rips, repairs or tears on the box top or bottom. The composition shepherd boy is APPOX 3 tall. The sheep are of sturdy stick-leg construction, with all sheep having their original stick legs and no repairs. They all have hand-painted composition faces and fluffy long-tailed bodies with five red and five green colored collars. The ram has a bell around his neck and is APPOX 4 1/2 x 4 1/2. The sheep are 3″ x 3″ and the box is 11x 8x 2. This extraordinary set and dates to about 1900. Any questions just ask.
