Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique Early Working 1898 EDISON’Cylinder Phonograph’ Square Top 2 Clip Suitcase’Model Standard’ Manual Hand Crank Wind-Up Table Top Cylinder Phonograph with Original Brass Horn, made by Thomas A. Edison at Orange NJ USA, circa 1898. It Has a Beautiful Square Top Suitcase Oak Wood Case with Crank Handle, and Original Brass Horn!!! It is Serial Number S11985, and Measures approx. 12 1/4″ Wide x 9 1/2″ Tall (With Cover – Not Including Handle) x 9 Deep, and is Heavy! I Tried a Cylinder and Wound it Up and The Movement Turned and it Played the Cylinder Disk Correctly, and Played The Whole Song to The End. The Reproducer is an Early’Edison Automatic’ Reproducer with Arm, and Sounds Good! I will Include a Cylinder Disk, as Pictured. Don’t Pass Up This Rare Original Early Edison!!! Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique Early Working 1898 EDISON “Model GEM” Manual Hand Crank Wind-Up Table Top Cylinder Phonograph with Original Edison Gem Horn, made by Thomas A. Edison at Orange NJ USA, circa 1898. This is The Early Model of the Gem Which Did Not Have a Cover, and Used a Slotted Winding Key. It is Serial Number G32282, and Has an Oak Base Which Measures approx. 9 1/2″ x 7 1/2″, and is Approx. This Includes The Original Signed “Edison Gem” 8 Panel Black Morning Glory Horn! I Tried a Cylinder and Wound it Up and The Movement Turned and it Played the Cylinder Disk Correctly, and Played The Whole Song to The End. Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Vintage Working 1950’s French’Eames Era’ Mid Century Modern Atomic Starburst Sunburst Wall Clock, made by Duverdrey & Bloquel France. The Clock is Made of Black Painted Metal in the Shape Of A Starburst with Gold Gilt’Ball and Stick’ Accents. 24 1/2 in Diameter. The Dial is a Plain Black Modernist Minimalist Dial with Fancy Oversized Brass Moon and Star Hands! The Clock Movement is a French 8 Day Brass Mechanical Wind-up Movement That Winds From the Front, and Includes a Winding Key! The Movement is Signed “Duverdrey & Bloquel France”.
