HERE IS ANOTHER AWESOME Zenith Radio from my collection. THE ZENITH RACETRACK DESIGN CAME IN THREE MODELS/CABINET, AS FAR AS I KNOW. THIS 5-S-319 IS ALMOST. I SAY ALMOST BECAUSE, THE FINISH HAS BEEN GIVEN A LITTLE MORE SPARK BUT, AS YOU LOOK AT THE. PICTURES, YOU CAN SEE ALL OF THE ORIGINAL PHOTO FINISH AND FACTORY DECALS. THE GRILL CLOTH IS AN ERA REPLACEMENT PATTERN, EVERYTHING ELSE IS ORIGINAL TO THE RADIO. KILLER GOLD AND BLACK DIAL WITH DECO NUMERALS. THE RADIO CAME TO ME FROM PAUL SANDERS COLLECTION. THIS PARTICULAR RADIO HAS HAD A INPUT JACK ON THE CHASSIS SO THERE ARE NO WIRES FLOPPING AROUND. THE CHASSIS HAS BEEN COMPLETELY RESTORED. ALL CAPACITORS AND RESISTORS HAVE BEEN REPLACED. ALL TUBES TESTED TO RATE AS THEY SHOULD, ALL GOOD. THE RADIO WAS ALIGNED AND ALL MOVING PARTS LUBRICATED TO WORK SMOOTHLY. THE PUSH BUTTON AUTO TUNE CAN BE SET TO YOUR LOCAL STATIONS BY SIMPLY REMOVING BRASS BUTTONS ABOVE THE PUSH BUTTON. FROM THAT POINT YOU CAN FIND YOUR FAVORITES, EASY. Rare Antique 6 Day Racer 100 Year Old Track Bike Wooden Wheel Skip Tooth
Good 100 year old used antique condition, typical scratches, nicks, chips, scrapes, flaking, blistering, pitting, corrosion, dings (top tube-pictured), rub marks, and dry rot. Missing decals/ graphics and head tube badge. Awesome overall patina, with authentic nostalgia and a rare example of classic early cycling history. Super cool wall hanger or very interesting restoration project. Includes; steel frame, original fork, headset, stem, handlebars, tape, skip tooth cottered crank set, seat post / pillar, saddle clamp, Peterson saddle with spring webbing, E. Lobdell wooden front, Mavic rear with skip tooth cog 28 tubular wheels, and Gillette tires. Cool old survivor piece of cycling memorabilia. Preliminary research suggests circa 1913 Bastide but not certain, any help out there would be appreciated. Size 55×57 55 CTC center of crank to center of top tube – measured along seat tube. 57 CTC center of seat tube to center of head tube – measured along top tube.
