Antique VICTOR Six 6 VI Phonograph Talking Machine NICE Early RARE Horn

Up for sale is a NICE VICTOR Six 6 VI Phonograph Talking Machine with Early Rare Horn. I think around 1905- 1906. Interim horn between the paper mache and the mahogany horn. An early Rare morning glory. Original, touched up a bit. Felt on the turntable. Original mahogany finish in wonderful shape with some (but not too much checking). (see pictures) Some minor gold losses and spotting/wear on elbow (as expected) including horn bracket hold down, with a small unnoticeable dent in the back horn bracket. Case base is 15 1/2″ x 15 1/2″. Great front label (V6) (S/N 1661) and great gold horn support stenciling. Overall a great nice looking original piece. Check out this forum conversation for a short story of the same horn style.. Only meant to be a glimpse into history, nothing more…. This one doesn’t have the paper label. Rare Antique Model P2 Victor Talking Machine Horn Phonograph, Gramophone, Hmv

Here is a nicely restored Antique example of one of the Victor Talking Machine Co. Models that is seldom seen. This model is not very common at all! It is a Victor Model “P2″. It’s considerably smaller in size than the regular Victor “P” is. The case on this machine measures only 9 1/8″ x 10″ with a platter size that is 7 in diameter. The way that it is designed will also allow a 10 record to be played on it as well, though. The horn is the horn without the elbow is only about 14″ long with a bell diameter of 9 1/2″. It would be a perfect size to set one of the plaster “Nipper” dogs in front of so that he looks like he’s listening to “His Master’s Voice” (HMV). It’s a pretty nice example for anyone that collects Gramophones and other brands of Talking Machines Columbia, Edison, etc. The upper wooden horn support arm is a newer replacement one, since it must have been missing at one time (probably made 20 years ago or so). The Victor Exhibition reproducer was converted to a long throat one from a regular style one (if I didn’t point that out, you probably couldn’t even tell, but I’m trying to describe my items as accurately as possible). This model is not a “power house” so demonstrate it carefully. You can break ANY wind-up phonograph at ANY time if you over wind it. They are designed for “reasonable use”. It comes with a pack of 100 steel needles (change about every other play of a record) and it includes the record that is shown on it. You can also “Google” me if you want. ANTIQUE COLUMBIA PHONOGRAPH GRAPHOPHONE TALKING MACHINE TYPE AZ PAT 1897 WORKS. This weighs about 22 pounds unwrapped. Once wrapped and double boxed, this may weigh close to 30+ pounds. Photos: We can only list 12 photos. If you would like additional photos, please ask. Music Cylinder marked: 4186 THE CROCODILE IMPERIAL MARIMBA BAND. Back Sticker reads: “GRAPHOPHONE AND COLUMBIA RECORDS WERE AWARDED THE GRAND PRIZE AT THE PARIS EXPOSITION OF 1900″. 22.5 tall to top of Horn. Condition: Works–I’m able to wind it and it turns, speed can be adjusted, but I don’t hear music, but I do not know how to make it make a musical sound. I did not open the screws on the top to see the insides (if you want me to, please let me know). Graphophone is very dusty/dirty due to age. Has Not been cleaned. The top metal plate is very dirty and shows what appears to be some rust. Top edge of Horn has a slight dent. Brass top of the Horn needs polishing. Scuffs/scratches on Black part of the Horn. Wood appears in solid condition–no chips, a nick or two in places, and a slight hairline fracture in the wood on the top by one of the screwed in parts. Wood appears probably needs cleaning/polishing. The gold painted part of the front design has paint chipped off in spots. On the very bottom of the machine, a piece of the wood is flaking off (but still attached). I do not know if there is any other piece or part missing (other listings show there were covers on some models, so this may be missing the cover-top). Antique EDISON talking machine phonograph FIRESIDE COMBO-Cyg Horn/K Reproducer

Old original : EDISON FIRESIDE COMBINATION PHONOGRAPH. This nice used phonograph was recently bought at an estate sale. It has the combination (2/4 minute) gearing upgrade along with the optional cygnet horn assembly and Model K (2/4 minute) Reproducer. I cleaned and polished the cabinet, crank handle/bezel as well as the upper motor parts/bed plate. The motor works was degreased then greased/oiled. The belt was also replaced. Will be less to other zones depending upon your zip. Please inquire for an accurate quote. Louis, right off of I-70. Machine by itself, weight: about 20 lbs. CONDITION : I cranked and played both a 2 & 4 minute cylinder record and it plays/tracks as it should; I see no problems with the playing conditionwhen receiving said item, the new owner may have to adjust the Reproducer sensitivity on the records surface by adjusting the top cygnet horn thumb screw either up or down; the motor surprisingly runs fairly quiet. I believe the cygnet horn crane, spring and thumb screw to be an earlier reproduction. The horn shows some dings, scratches, etc. As shown in photosbut NO major damage; one could have it re-pinstriped in gold. The bed plate shows small areas of paint as well as clearcoat chipping/losswhich is typical. The nickel plated Model K Reproducer is in very good conditionI did replace the dried out gaskets as I had them on hand. The finish on the cabinet is original and was cleaned and rewaxed. Antique Standard Talking Machine Style X Phonograph with a Red Horn. This is a well preserved phonograph fresh out of my shop. The case finish is original and looks great. You can see the finger jointed corners. It has its original fall off crank. The motor is oiled and runs strong and smooth. The support and tone arm are very nice original. The reproducer is original and sounds good. I rebuilt it with new gaskets. The turntable felt is original with no wear. The red horn is good looking with itvalthuogh it has typical loss to the finish. This ma hone foes not come with records or needles. It is playing one of my personal records.
