This Jar is complete with original wire closure and correct, color-matched 3-Date Lid. Blown in an attractive shade of Pale Yellow with Olive Green undertones. This Keeper absolutely GLOWS on a sill and will not disappoint! Marked PUTNAM 301 on base. Condition : Theres a very faint crows foot or annealing check noted on the left side, mid-body (see close-ups, photos #6 & #11) otherwise Excellent with exceptional, rare color and strong embossing. Factory-ground lip with typical roughness and one shallow flake, as shown (photo #12). Moderate oxidation noted on the metal components. Tremendous character with surface whittle and air inclusions (large & small) throughout. See photos for complete details and close-ups. Please consider them as part of the description. This is the Greeleys Bourbon Bitters G-101 Quart. Barrel-form; blown in an attractive shade of smoky olive green with topaz tones. Applied square collared mouth; smooth base. Condition : Upper lip has a shallow flake, and a small nick that can be felt with a fingernail; otherwise in Very Good++ to Excellent essentially as-made condition with strong, crisp embossing and mold impression. Beautiful and scarce color on this Keeper. No cracks, repaired damage or other excuses! Displays brilliantly on a sill, and the perfect addition to any Antique Barrel Bitters color run. An antique Putnam “Lightning” Fruit or Canning Jar with glass lid and wire closure, American, ca. Crude, blown Quart in attractive shade of Pale Olive Amber; factory ground lip. Embossed: TRADE MARK / LIGHTNING on body. Base is embossed: PUTNAM / 83. Retains correct “3-date” glass Lid. Color Note : The glass color depicted in the photos is accurate. I would classify this Jar as pale Yellow/Amber with strong Olive tones. The lid is quite special with shades of pale Green Apple and Olive (see close-ups). There are shallow flakes and roughness on the factory ground lip, as shown. A few air inclusions noted; no open bursts. Fine color and whittled character throughout. Beware of the numerous reproductions out there; this jar guaranteed old and authentic. Displays brilliantly in a sunlit sill or window shelf; this Lightning Jar really glows in the morning/afternoon light! Highly-appropriate for any collection. Description : An antique Whiskey Flask, probably Granite Glass Co, New Hampshire, ca. This is the GII-82 Double Eagle Pint, blown in attractive shades of Olive Amber. Plain, sheared and fire-polished mouth; crude pontil scar on base. Each side embossed with an Eagle carrying a banner, shield and arrows above an oval panel. One panel is embossed: STODDARD / N. Description : An Early American Chestnut Flask, 7-3/8H, New England origin, ca. Free-blown in a varying shades of Olive Amber with outward, rolled mouth and pontil scar on base. Crude and asymmetrical with several embedded ash inclusions and 100s of tiny seed bubbles throughout. The photos are probably the best description.
