Antique Seth Thomas Wind Up Mantel Clock Adamantine Time Lion 4 Column WORKING. This old Seth Thomas clock is from the 1880s and is in all around good condition. It is still very accurate at keeping time and has chimes that play on the half hour and hour. There are 3 different wind up spots; time, chime, and fine tuning the pendulum. It comes with the key, though it might not be the original. The glass in the front is in great condition with no chips or scratches. There is a small bit of damage on the top of the clock, some scratches and the right front leg has a missing piece. There appear to be a few screws that have been replaced on the front clock face to more modern screws. All can be seen in the pictures. The marble is faux marble on the top, the pillars, and the detailing around the pillars. The dimensions of the clock are 16 inches long, 7 inches wide and 12 inches tall. The Footed Victorian Clock is Made of Gold Gilt Cast Metal with White Porcelain Dial with Roman Numerals, Absolutely Stunning!!!! It Sits on a Carved Footed Molded Ebonized Plinth with Victorian Oval Glass Dome! The Clock is Not Attached to the Dome Base, and Sits Freely on the Base. The Clock Itself Measures approx. 10″ Tall x 10 1/4″ Wide x 3 1/2 Deep. The Glass Dome Measures approx. 14″ Tall, with a 13 1/8″ Wide x 6 1/4 Deep Base. Beautiful Victorian cuckoo clock with lovely carved wood detailing. Free standing mantelpiece / shelf clock (not for wall hanging). Stamped on the brass mechanism is’G. 32′, indicating it is a Gordian Hettich Sohn which is one of the smaller Black Forest manufacturers founded in 1836 although as it is GHS it is post-1880. Clockwork and cuckoo mechanims Iin full working order including sound via two air bellows. 8-day winding basis i. Needs to be wound once a week. The cuckoo comes out every half hour, it cuckoos once on the half hour and for the number corresponding to the hour. The only issues to note are relatively minor: a very small amount of the white detailing in some places has fallen off around the winder holes and the number 5 (V). Also the handle or knob to pull the back cover off is no longer there but could be replaced, although the back has 2 latches on the top and groove fitting at the bottom so a handle to pull the back off is not really necessary. Hello, you are viewing my sale for an Antique New Haven USA Art Nouveau Mantel Shelf Clock showing an Angel Cherub. This clock is made from a Gilt Gold Metal. There are Lovely Scroll Designs throughout. This is a Small Size Clock. It weighs 2.2 pounds and measures 5 and 1/2″ wide by 6 and 3/4″ tall by 2 and 5/8 deep. There is some minor wear present. The clock face has a crack through it. There is a hole present on the top of the cherubs head where something may have sat. There are no other breaks, bends, or repairs present. Antique French Mantel Clock Gilt Bronze Circa 1870’s With Putti Figurines. Hello Ladies and Gentlemen we are pleased to present to you a charming Antique French Mantel Clock in Gilt Bronze Circa 1870’s! This is a large French Mantel Clock as was common of the 19th Century period. This beautiful clock was made in France Circa 1870’s. The 5 diameter gilded brass dial is filled with cast decoration and has White Enamel Cartouches with Blue Roman Numerals and Victorian Style Hands. The case is an ornate scroll leaf and flower designed Brass Chased with three alluring Putti. An Artist and a Sculptor flank the sides and a Musician sits at the top. A small piece of the Musicians Bow may be broken off(Please see photo 7). It is in all original condition with exception of the glass on the back of the movement which we replaced. There is no guarantee on the movement due to the age of the piece. The movement is believed to be original and may need some work as it stops and goes. Make sure you look at all the photos so you can see all the amazing details of this enchanting timepiece from antiquity. This large clock measures approximately 27″H x 22″W(at base) x 9L(at base) and weighs approximately 50 pounds. The Clock has a nice original color patina showing some normal age patina in a few areas adding to the charm of this stunning piece. We took plenty of pictures and ask that you please view them carefully. The clock movement is marked “699” and a signature of “Mc Martin” is written on the bell of the movement (see photos 9 & 10). This signature just adds to the mystique of the piece. The bell has an nice soothing sound. We are very excited about this Rare and Hard to Find piece for all of you collectors.
