Large Antique Beha Cuckoo Clock ca. 1870, s with Leaves, Grapes and Vines

Up for sale we have an antique Johann Baptiste Beha wall cuckoo clock circa 1875. Measures 21.5″ H and 16″ W at roof. I pack with care. Only replacements are the whistles and possibly cuckoo door. The whistles are plastic so I have included a pair of very old whistles which can be installed. They are seen in one of the final photos. In a Beha catalog of this period I believe the clock is either model 206 or 303. The cuckoo bird itself is in great shape, moving mouth and wings on striking. There is some faded writing in pencil on the backboard with what looks like the year 1876. The pendulum on this clock is gorgeous. Antique Singer 12k Fiddle base HandCrank Sewing Machine with Acanthus leaves variant decals. Serial numbers 9510601(1890 production). A hand crank 12k fiddle base Antique sewing machine. It is a transverse shuttle machine using a “boat” type shuttle. A 19th century antique Singer Family Model 12k fiddle base hand crank sewing machine comes with shuttle & bobbin in position. Good condition for its age but no needle, Case & accessries-slide plates are not original. This machine is in good condition and operates although not tested with fabric. Overall a cracking machine, which are becoming harder to find in this condition. Great useful vintage machine for display, use or collection. Ideal for sewing most materials like denim, canvas, silk, calico, and the like. It could be used as it was intended for sewing or upcycled as a small office ornament perhaps for antique/vintage /old sewing machine home decor, collectors, seamstress, architectural interior design, retro sewing & needle work machine. This is a nice statement making size that is older and of good quality. I believe everything is original, 3 way switch socket and on/off switch on cord. It has beautiful flowers and foliage, the old paint in gorgeous colors that is chippy and shows pitting and rust and time worn for a great patina. It is in working order, but I advise having all vintage lighting checked out by a qualified person. The entire piece is metal, even the base. Perfect in your home in your shabby chic, French country, Paris Apt or romantic cottage decor. 53″ tall (from base to top of finial), from the base to top of light socket 42.25″ by 12″ wide at widest point, and 6 1/2″ wide at the base. Heavy weight (will not tip over). Lamp Tested and Confirmed In Working Condition. Condition: Vintage original condition, works great, age rust on metal, have not tried to remove the rust / pitting, heavy quality lamp. This lamp would make a lovely addition to a collection or home.
