VTG ANTIQUE ESCHER WATER HONE SHARPENING STONE RAZOR GERMANY BARBERS W/ BOX. VERY OLD AND ORIGINAL. THE STONE STILL HAS ITS ORIGINAL PAPER LABELS, ON THE FRONT AND THE SIDES. THE COLOR IS MARKED “DARK BLUE”. LABELED: MANUFACTURED EXPRESSLY FOR S. In NY by E. THE MAIN STONE MEASURES 5″ X 21/4″ X 3/4. Stone is very smooth but does have 2 small chips close to the label edge (on the edge of the stone). Smaller stone has some rough chipped edges. Some fading and age to the box label, box has damage to corners. The lighter colored line running through the surface is natural to the stone, it is not a crack. Original Escher & Co. Wasser – Abziehstein (water sharpening stone). Size: 10″ x 1 15/16″ x 15/16. Labels on stone (2), box (1). Condition: Stone has seen light use, two small chips to bottom corners. Labels have wear as shown. Wooden box has surface wear, scrapes, dents and staining.
