This is a nice statement making size that is older and of good quality. I believe everything is original, 3 way switch socket and on/off switch on cord. It has beautiful flowers and foliage, the old paint in gorgeous colors that is chippy and shows pitting and rust and time worn for a great patina. It is in working order, but I advise having all vintage lighting checked out by a qualified person. The entire piece is metal, even the base.
