1860s chainstitch hand cranked sewing machine, produced by Charles Raymond and marketed in England by James Weir. In restored condition, though I have some very light surface corrosion to remove before dispatch. This is just because I didn’t apply a polish after the initial restoration. I’ve applied a very thick coating of the traditional, correct flake shellac to the cloth bed.
