Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique Authentic U. Navy Civil War M1860 Naval Cutlass Sword, Dated 1862, made by the Ames Mfg. This Has a Brass Cup Cross Guard with Leather Wrapped Wood Handle. The Sword measures approx. 32″ Long with a 26″ Blade. It is Dated 1862 on One Side, and Signed Ames Mfg. The Markings are Worn From Age, but Legible, See Photos. Sorry No Scabbard, As Pictured! This is a Great Piece of U.
