Condition: pre-owned; this plane is in very good condition, a bit dirty and has some light scratches, the base has no cracks or chips, the handles have some scratches, dirty and have no visible cracks. The blade and chip breaker are in good condtion the blade seems sharp however may need to be re-sharpened. This came from my fathers estate and was passed down from his grandfather. This is a very nice plane. Stamping or Markings: no stamping or markings on base. STANLEY RULE & LEVEL Co. (on the blade) L. BAILEY’S PATENT DEC. 24, 1867 (on the chip breaker).
