This item is made around 1910. Its dimension is 28″H x 12″W. This clock has an 8 day movement with half hour and hour striking. The pendulum is swinging behind a clear glass panel. While the clock strikes, the monk raises his hammer and hits on the brass bell. There is also a hammer inside the bell to create a loud and clear sound. Part of the top crest has been replaced and it’s been finished beautifully. There is a retractable anchor on the back case, which you can to easily convert this mantle to a wall clock. The clock is complete and currently in working order. The animation of this clock surely makes this clock a conversational piece. All winding clocks come with their key.
