Antique Zenith Walton Tombstone Wood Case Tube Radio Model 9-S-232. Chassis was recapped several years ago and plays very well on the broadcast band. All controls function, the electric tuning is great, the tuning eye is bright and reacts well when you tune in a signal. The wood veneer is original and in excellent condition. The cabinet looks like it had a clearcoat applied many years ago as it shows some runover along the back edge. It shows some checkering and wear around the knobs which leads me to believe it was done a long time ago. The output transformer was replaced on the speaker. Knobs and everything else appears original and numbers match on the chassis and cabinet. Overall, an excellent example. About 3-1/2 hrs to St Louis and Kansas City.
