Sparton Cobalt Blue Mirrored 558-B sled tube radio designed by Walter Dorwin Teague (well-known for his Kodak industrial designs). Manufactured by Sparks-Worthington Company in Jackson, Michigan c. 1937-39 Known as the sled or 4-knob one of the best examples of Deco Streamline style. Engraved to have the illusion of multiple pieces of glass on the front, top, and left mirror (which are just single pieces). Deluxe version of the model 557 (released in 1936). On the dial: Sparton, Jackson, Mich. As seen in the Henry Ford Museum, Museum of Fine Arts – Boston, and others. 2-band, 5-tube AC-powered super-heterodyne/superheterodynes. Tube line-up: 6A8G (mixer/LO), 6K7G (IF), 6Q7G 2. AF, 6F6G (AF power), 5Y3G (rectifier). Printed schematic can be sent upon request (or can be searched for easily online). This is the original design, and not the Crosley CR 38/Cr38-CD Replica. 4-knobs: Volume, Waveband selection, Tuning, and Tone/On/Off. One knob is not original (its obvious which). The other three are aged but intact: the silver rings remain attached. The rounded right front corner is decorated with 5 chrome metal fins (all with minimal pitting or chrome loss). Wood sled base painted with ebony nitrocellulose lacquer with some crystalline naptha lacing finish still visible. Front mirror shows some sign of flaking above 3. Knob, and also on the left within the engraving. Some specks on tops and side mirrors, difficult to be exact about condition since opinion is subjective, this 80+ year-old radio is in better condition than most might expect. See photos for more details. No immediate signs of refinishing/refurbishing. After appropriate tinkering, it should be ready to be enjoyed as-is, or refinished to perfection. Unit powers on, glows, and hums. No further testing or repair has been done. Tubes all appear intact. The price will be discounted on an incremental basis so if you are interested, definitely watch this item. The price will continue to go down until this sells. Antique Junghans Vienna Regulator Clock with Carved Head 32; Serviced. Up for your consideration is an Antique Junghans Vienna Regulator Clock with carved head. In fine working order. Measures 32 1/2″ long and 15 1/2″ wide at the widest point. Movement was lightly cleaned and properly lubricated. Case is in very good condition with minimal wear. Movement and pendulum look original. Chime hammer has been replaced. Missing the very top finial. Dial has a couple of hairlines but non-structural. Case area just below door has some minor veneer cracking. Comes with pendulum and winding key. Note: Clock was setup to run when the ledge at the bottom of the door is level. Striking Mechanism Has a Patent Date of May 26 1891. Looks to be in Great Condition. Fully wound Mainspring and a Winding key is Included. Has Flat glass in Door. This listing is for an INCREDIBLY RARE 1900’s Toledo Ohio Antique Vintage Halloween Parade Lantern. Lanterns such as these are highly collectible among Halloween collectors. This particular lantern is in nice condition overall. It retains much of its original paint which is adhered and not flaking off. Lantern still has it’s original final, inside candle holder, and a bit of his carrying stick left. The black base was added for display purposes. The total height with the stand is approximately 13 tall. This lantern would certainly be a stand out piece in an antique Halloween collection. Vintage Antique 1930s Halloween Paper Mache Pulp FN Burt Devil Lantern

Vintage / Antique 1930s Halloween Paper Mache Pulp Jack-O-Lantern Devil. Made by the F. Burt Company, of Buffalo, NY during the early 1930s. Really cool if you think about it! Measures about 6.5″ tall and 5.5″ wide at its widest point. Antique, and overall I would say well preserved condition given the fact it is probably about 85-90 years old! There is some paint rubbed off in a few areas, also some of the bottom has worn down, and it has a hole in the back of the head. I believe the insert is original, and as you can see it is thin so it also does have some rips/tears. This came from a local, Buffalo NY estate sale. I was told by the estate sale company that a large amount of Halloween decorations were found at the bottom of a box of vintage clothing and the kids of the deceased had no idea they were even there; they had never seen them before in their lives, so they suspect that the items belonged to their grandparents. When I went to the sale, the story made sense. There was a lot of “junk” hoarded everywhere, so it was. To me that they hadn’t realized what had been kept where for a long time. The kids are in their 60s, so we are talking about items that were not given any special storage treatment, but which have probably not seen the light of day for at least 60 years if not more! Pretty cool I think! Don’t miss this awesome opportunity to score this rare, “un-vaulted” item with such a neat history! Please review all pictures and full description carefully.
