LARGE 43 RARE ANTIQUE HAND CARVED WOOD OUR LADY MARY MADONNA & JESUS STATUE. Authentic and genuine from Germany! More details about it below.. Please view the photos as they are part of the description. She is wearing a crown and is standing on the snake. Jesus is holding the orb and is blessing. Both have suffered a lot and look very weathered. On some parts the whole limescale inclduing the paint has come off allready. The crown is damadged as well. But still, it has something very special. Her facial expression is full of gentleness and permeates the viewer with piety. I absolutly love the patina. The statue was made out fo different parts and the sculptor glued it together. It might be hollow and maybe a relic is stored in it like scultors often did back in the days.. A unique contemporary witness of the past. My grandfather placed it in the hallway nearby the fireplace in the basement. Touching it was forbidden for me as a small child under penalty of punishment :. Weight: 14,4 kg. Materials and Technique: It is full round sculptural hand carved out of the finest wood and made of different parts. Technique used surface: limescale, painted and by hand. Country/Region of Origin: United State. Has one of the original Hours of Collection paper from the Post Office. The box also displays a label with the manufacturing date on the front of the box (see pictures). The box comes with its original pole mount for hanging. Made by Danville Stove MFG Co. It measures Height- 20 1/4 inches, Width- 13 1/4 inches, and Depth 9 1/4 inches and the box weighs 60 pounds. The brass front on the box is missing 5 of 6 of the screws. Victor Victrola Vic 3 antique phonograph player 10 turntable 2 spring motor. It’s a little difficult to read in the photo but the serial number is 3121. This Vic 3 is in great condition. The case looks beautiful. Just a couple of chips to some of the pillar pieces as you can see in the photos. The elbow has been painted silver and I think its either gold plated or just brass underneath. It has new felt on the turntable. The motor has been tuned up so it plays well. Also it has a rebuilt Exhibition reproducer that sounds great. The horn has a few dents but the paint looks pretty good for the age and the decal is very intact. For your consideration today is a freshly restored 1941 Crosley 5 tube antique radio. This is their model 52TTA and it is 13″ long x 8″ tall x 7 deep. The radio is loaded with wonderful colors, and wood grains. The front corners are rounded. The dial face is in excellent condition as is the pointer that functions as required. There is a back dust cover and the radio has a built-in “Loop” Antenna that receives stations very well. There is a new Dial Cover, new AC Power Cord, new Dial Lamp, and new Speaker Cloth. All 5 tubes tested, new Filter/audio capacitors, chassis cleaned, and the remaining components tested/adjusted and replace if needed. The original knobs have been cleaned, polished, and resealed. They are tight to the shafts and function as required. The radio receives stations well across the dial and has plenty of volume + tone + projection. Ships to the continental USA ONLY. I sell tall case clocks quite often but I must say this is one of the highest quality grandfather clocks I have offered for sale in some time. If you are familiar with antique clocks the name J. Elliott and also Winterhalder & Hofmeier are probably names you recognize. This combines both companies in one truly fine quality piece. This is a signed Elliott quartered oak quartersawn oak quarter-chiming tall case clock, circa 1895. The case with swan’s neck hood or bonnet with freestanding fluted tapered columns flanking the composite brass dial with applied Arabic numerals, cast brass engraved applied spandrels. With the traditional moon’s phase in the arch and maker’s plaque reading “Elliott, ” full-length beveled glass waist door and wreath decorated base, resting on two carved paw front feet, eight-day, three-train movement with chimes on four gongs, regulated by a brass-faced pendulum and three associated weights. A high quality signed Winterhalder & Hofmeier movement with exceptional sound. W & H were considered the finest clockmakers in the Victorian era. They were based in several towns in Germanys Black Forest region. The company was established in 1810 by Thomas Winterhalder in Friedenweiler, southern Germany. W&H made hall, wall and mantel clocks. A 1909 catalog of Grimshaw, Baxter and JJ Elliott Ltd. (fine English clock firm) shows two examples of superb W&H bracket clocks imported by Grimshaw. Clock is in excellent condition with original finish and very nice patina. Movement is all original and of finest quality. As with all our clocks, piece has been cleaned and is currently operating correctly. A word about condition. Those of you who have. I will try to note anything of significance in the description.
