This is a very collectible Herman H. Heiser Saddle–Loop Seat Saddles were popular from the early turn of Century into the early 1900’s so hard to date this one. I would say it is in above average condition and the leather is supple and clean. High cantle–old wood metal bound stirrups. Lace up stirrup leathers–the saddle has had repairs on the jockey area on both sides so please look at the pics–there is also a small tear on the bottom fender area by where it goes around the stirrup–it has been re-fleeced at some point in time and most of the fleece is still there—the saddle is probably 100 yrs.
